Uncover the mystery of a town in the midwest that has trapped all who enter. As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the dangers of the surrounding forest. Check out our list of revivals and cancellations to see if your favorite show has taken place. The town set was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia. The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago housed housing units, a community hall, a fire station, a school, a church, a store, etc. (all demolished by 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. All that remains are the cobblestone streets and driveways, and a mock town has been built on top of them. As Boyd enters a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well. A rope is lowered down to him. When Boyd comes out of the well, Martin is the only one in the room and he is chained to the wall. Martin didn’t drop the rope. Much better than I thought it would be based on some of the negative reviews here. So good that I binged the first two seasons over the long weekend. Can’t wait for season three to come out. A great premise for a show with some similarities to shows like Lost and Wayward Pines, but different enough that it doesn’t feel like I’m watching the same show. I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes horror/mystery type shows with a bit of a twist. Very enjoyable and fun to watch. I just hope it has more seasons or at least enough so we get answers to all the questions I still have. One of the best shows I’ve seen in a while.
