The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim is set 183 years before the events of the original film trilogy and tells the story of the fate of Helm Hammerhand, the legendary leader of the House of Rohan. A sudden attack by Wulf, the wise and ruthless lord of Dunlending, who seeks to avenge his father’s death, forces Helm and his men to make a daring final stand at the ancient fortress of Hornburg, the mighty fortress that would later become known as Helm’s Deep. Faced with an increasingly desperate situation, Hera, Helm’s daughter, must summon her will to lead the resistance against a deadly enemy bent on their total destruction.
